Who am I?
Elizabeth Hurly, a financial professional, who has over 25 years of experience in investment management. My career started on the institutional side, working as a portfolio manager for a pension fund, and as a pro trader at one of Canada's leading financial institutions. For the last ten years, my work has been with individuals and couples, providing investment management and financial planning.
My areas of specialization include cross border wealth management, retirement planning, and responsible investing.
At Hurly Wealth Advisory, I lead you through a process to discover the issue or issues you need assistance with, to design solutions unique to your situation, and to provide ongoing financial stewardship.
I leverage my knowledge and experience with the first class support offered by Raymond James experts, and my own network of professional specialists. This ensures you have peace of mind and confidence in your financial future.
Wealth management is one of the corner stones to building a good life. For me,other corner stones are family, friends, community and purpose.
Community organizations I actively support include Visions of Science, Egale Centre and Habitat for Humanity.
This is Max, my rescue dog. He picked me eight and a half years ago. Max is border collie and lab mix. He has energy to spare and likes to herd planes. I admire his ambition.
In 2017 I had the wonderful experience of taking a week off and volunteering at the Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Habitat For Humanity build in Edmonton.
It was so much fun working as a team to assist in building a house. We literally started in the basement. Long days and physical work, it was tiring and invigorating at the same time. President and Mrs. Carter were working on the house across from us. They might be slower, but they work hard!
